2. Historical & Genealogical Disclaimer

All regimental histories, muster rolls, and county archive summaries are compiled for educational, historical, and genealogical research purposes. While we strive for absolute accuracy, historical records from the 1860s frequently contain clerical discrepancies, spelling variations, and missing muster rolls. We recommend confirming critical ancestral claims with certified National Archives (NARA) microfilm records.

3. Public Domain & Intellectual Property

All 19th-century military rosters, government reports, and historical records referenced on this site are in the public domain. The unique database compilation, UI software architecture, AI summaries, and proprietary Lineage Proof Ratings are the intellectual property of The Civil War Days.
