Historical Summary
Serving in Roddey's Brigade under Nathan Bedford Forrest, the 11th Alabama Cavalry raided Union supply lines in northern Alabama and Tennessee. The regiment fought notably at Athens, Sulphur Branch Trestle, and Pulaski, ultimately taking part in the desperate defense of Selma before surrendering in May 1865.
